Seeds of Hope Eating Disorder Program
Seeds of Hope is an Intensive Outpatient Program specializing in the treatment of eating disorders. It offers support and direction for individuals in crisis or struggling to function on a regular basis. It is often an alternative to inpatient hospitalization or can be a transition for individuals being discharge from an inpatient stay. We treat clients in the least restrictive environment which allows many to maintain their daily life and routine. Our staff consists of Licensed Professional Counselors and Nutritionists and Dietitians who specialize in the treatment of eating disorders. Clients are supported three times a week by using a multimodal approach consisting of Process Group Therapy, Expressive Art Therapy and Educational Nutrition Therapy. These groups reduce isolation and secrecy, help identify and express feelings, and develop more effective ways of coping. A therapeutic meal is included which our clients make at home and eat together with our staff. Our group maintains a small group census to ensure optimum therapeutic support.
